Rural Crime WhatsApp Group

Wilton Police Service has created and moderates a local Rural Crime WhatsApp group for community members to collaborate on suspicious activity in the area.  Our ratepayers can serve as the ‘Eyes and Ears’ of their communities and contact the police to report suspicious persons / vehicles.

The objective of the group is to alert your members instantly of an incident and keeps Wilton Police informed and aware of the same.  This collaboration will allow us to work together to enhance crime prevention within our Municipality.  Imminent emergencies are still to call 9-1-1 this does not replace these services for immediate assistance.

If you would like to be added to the group please submit an E-Service request and/or call in to the office to provide your information so that Wilton Police can add you to the group.   Must qualify as a ratepayer to join.
