Public Notice - Bylaw No. 06-2026 Zoning Bylaw Amendment

Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Rural Municipality of Wilton intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007 to amend Bylaw No. 16-2014, known as the Lloydminster Planning District Zoning Bylaw.

INTENT

The proposed amendment will rezone the SW-24-49-28-W3, as shown on the Map attached hereto, from A – Agricultural District to C1 – Rural Commercial District and M1 – Industrial District. REASON The reason for the proposed rezoning is to provide commercial and industrial zoning consistent with the development on the adjacent NW quarter.

PUBLIC INSPECTION

Any person may inspect the bylaw at the Municipal Office, 26646 Grid Road 688, (located in the NE-6-48-26-W3M, 9 km south of Highway 16 on Range Road 3265) between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Monday to Friday excluding statutory holidays. Copies of the proposed bylaws are available at the RM Office at a cost of $5.00. PUBLIC HEARING Council will hold a public hearing on August 20th, 2026 at 10:30 AM at the RM Office to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the RM Office before the hearing.
