Removal of Partial Fire Ban Effective 12:01 a.m., October 22, 2025

The Partial Fire Ban currently in effect will be lifted as of 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday October 22, 2025.

Residents are reminded that fire permits are still required for all  controlled burns.

Brush pile burning permits will be available starting November 1, 2025. When burning brush piles, please follow best practices to ensure safety:

• Burn only when weather conditions are calm and humidity is adequate.
• Ensure area around the pile has been cultivated.
• Ensure piles are at least 50 metres from buildings, trees, and other combustibles.
• Keep adequate fire suppression equipment on site (water source, tools, etc.).
• Ensure you monitor the burn and ensure it is fully extinguished .

Report any out-of-control fires immediately to 911. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our community safe.
