Partial Fire Ban - Effective Friday May 08
To mitigate the increased fire risk caused by Spring dry conditions - A Partial Fire Ban is in effect beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026.
While the ban remains in effect:
- Any active burns should be immediately extinguished.
- No new burn permits will be issued.
- All previously issued fire permits are revoked.
- No controlled burns or Fireworks permitted.
Permitted:
- Fireplaces within Buildings
- Campfires/Recreational Fires
- Fire Pits
- Fire Rings
- BBQ Grills & Smokers
- Fire training by professionally trained and authorized personnel
Ratepayers are asked to use caution and comply with all fire restrictions. Updates will be provided as conditions change.
