Paynton Rhubarb Festival

Dear Friends of the Paynton Rhubarb Festival;

Thanks to everyone, the first-ever Rhubarb Festival in Saskatchewan was such an overwhelming success that the Committee decided to host a second celebration! We are excited to invite you to our community to enjoy our festivities and pay homage to RHUBARB- the humble vegetable/fruit.

When Saskatchewan’s 2nd RHUBARB FESTIVAL which will be held in Paynton, Sask.
(We are located on Highway 16 between Lloydminster and the Battlefords)

Start with a pancake breakfast, then head into the community center for coffee or tea paired with local baked delights! Visit the fabulous variety of vendors at the market and feast at the food trucks before enjoying antique wagon rides and the Tractor and Wheels Show. Kids can play in the Bouncy Castles and check out the Kids Crafts tent, which includes face painting and the Balloon Guy! You are sure to find a treasure to bid on at the Silent Auction. The Beer and Wine tent will open at 1 pm. After 4 pm, we gather. Homemade burgers made with Angus beef from Rack Red Angus will be featured. Local Live entertainment will be featured for the evening's enjoyment.

And yes, the humble Rhubarb will once again be the featured ingredient in Saskatchewan's Second Ever “Anything with Rhubarb” foodie competition. Be sure to enter your favourite Rhubarb delicacy.

The festival committee is an entirely volunteer group, with all proceeds from the event being spent in the community on local improvements in the Village of Paynton.
